Establishing a Scholarship with the Lincoln Land Community College Foundation
Who does the donor pay for the scholarship?

Does the money go directly to the student?
The scholarship is first applied directly to the student's tuition and fee expense and paid to LLCC.
Should you designate other expenses eligible, the student may use the scholarship at the LLCC Bookstore to purchase books. Any remaining money will be issued to the student after they are attending classes.
Who will select the recipient?
The LLCC Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee selects recipients.
Is there a preference to the type of student who would get the scholarship?
In order for our selection committee to select from a variety of students, it is better if the criteria are broad.
What minimum grade point average should be placed on this scholarship?
Is there a specific program of study for the scholarship?
Should the recipient be a full-time or part-time student?
To complete a degree program in four semesters, some students enroll in 15 or more credit hours each semester.
Will the scholarship be for a first-time college student or a continuing LLCC student?
